● Established in 1949, Quanchai  started from a small agricultural machinery company which is engaged in the trial production of the goods  such as oil press machinery and flower gin  machinery to the ones  such as water pump, gas mill, ball mill and air compressor;

● In 1958, it was renamed "local state-owned Quanjiao engine  machinery factory". and Start  to produce the  sprayers, soil boards, 12 horsepower single cylinder gas engines, etc.

● In 1971, the company officially joined in the diesel engine industry with S195 diesel engine;

● In 1974, it was renamed the "local state-owned Quanjiao diesel engine plant";

● In 1976, six production lines for engine block, crankshaft, assembly and modeling and one automatic cylinder head processing line were built;

● In 1984, R175A series diesel engines were developed.

● In 1988, "Guoguang Agricultural Machinery Group" was established with 29 agricultural machinery manufacturers involved in throughtout the county;

● In 1988, it was renamed "Quanjiao diesel engine plant" and a new plant was built in Dongxiang, Quanjiao County;

● In 1990, N285Q, R190C, S1100, N385Q and N485Q diesel engines were successfully developed.

● In 1991, R175A diesel engine as awarded as the  "China's high quality product";

● In 1992, the full mold casting production line was introduced and the process technology research was carried out.

● In 1993, big  horsepower S series and small horsepower R series single cylinder diesel engines fully get access into the international market  for competition.

● In 1995, 450000 diesel engines were produced, with a sales revenue of 520 million yuan, a profit of 56.69 million yuan and a tax of 22.18 million yuan. The five economic indicators such as product output, output value, sales revenue, export earning foreign exchange and economic benefits rank at the forefront of the national small bore single cylinder diesel engine industry;

● 1997. Quanjiao Diesel Engine General Factory was restructured into a wholly state-owned enterprise - Anhui quanchai Group Co., Ltd., which has become one of the 15 key enterprise groups in Anhui Province. In that year, 460000 diesel engines were produced, and the annual sales volume of single cylinder engine reached a historical record.

● In 1998, Anhui  Quanchai Engine Co., Ltd. was successfully listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange;

● In 1999, Oubo pipe factory of Anhui quanchai Engine Co., Ltd. was established;

● In 2001, quanchai formed a strategic alliance with BAIC Foton, and the sales of multi cylinder diesel engines increased rapidly;

● In 2013, 470000 multi cylinder diesel engines were sold out, making it a domestic production base of medium and small power multi cylinder diesel engines;

● In 2013, quanchai technology center was recognized as the national enterprise technology center.

● In June 2015, quanchai "diesel engine intelligent chemical plant for large and medium-sized agricultural equipment" was selected as the special intelligent manufacturing project of the Ministry of industry and information technology in 2015.

● In 2017, Anhui Yuanjun Hydrogen Energy Research Institute Co., Ltd. was established and began to set foot in the field of hydrogen power.

● In 2018, the company was approved to set up a National Postdoctoral research workstation.

● In 2020, Anhui Zhongneng Yuanjun Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. will accelerate the industrialization of new energy power.

● In 2021, Anhui quanchai Power Co., Ltd. won the fifth Anhui provincial government quality award.

● In May 2021, the application of Anhui quanchai Power Co., Ltd. for non-public offering of shares was approved by China Securities Regulatory Commission, and it is proposed to raise 750 million yuan.
